Saranya Murthi's sound project, tidal.wav, brings together elements of noise, industrial, EBM and witch house. as a fiction writer, her work explores genres ranging from speculative fiction to body and psychological horror. 

she describes her music as unsettling and lively, blurring the liminal space between cyber and ether. there's mystery and familiarity, and a great deal of harmonic interplay, with ghostly pulses, rumbling bass and hissing static. 

Saranya M. is a writer and audiovisual artist from Cochin, Kerala and is currently residing in Bengaluru, India. she completed her Bachelors Degree in Contemporary Art Practices from Srishti Institute of Art & Design, Bengaluru, in 2017.
